Voting Process
We teamed up with the New York City Campaign Finance Board for our third video. This one helps New Yorkers understand the voting process — like how to register, who can register to vote, when elections happen and why voting matters.
Our visual approach married the clarity of explainer videos and the imagination of mixed-media animation with video, photography and colorful motion graphics.
We translated this video in 14 different languages to be accessible to a diverse range of New Yorkers.
City Offices
For this video, we broke down the different roles of New York City's local government. Stop motion & miniatures physical props mixed with 2D characters to add dimension and texture. Our diverse group of illustration New Yorkers brought a sense of inclusivity and empowerment to every frame of the video.
Ranked Choice Voting
Our team wholeheartedly believes in creating better and easier ways to vote, which made this campaign about the debut of Ranked Choice Voting in New York City all the more important to us.
Commissioned by the New York City Campaign Finance Board, we used a mixed media approach to engage viewers in this new and beneficial program. We scripted, designed, and cast talent for languages including English, Spanish, Korean, Cantonese, Bengali, and Mandarin. The final video has been widely received online and in press as part of the city’s awareness campaign.
