For Shopify’s “Time for Shopify” campaign, Mighty Oak was brought on to help create a series of vibrant videos showcasing the tools that make launching and growing a business easier than ever. From intuitive apps and powerful analytics to seamless checkout and customizable brand tools, Shopify’s features empower entrepreneurs to turn their big ideas into reality—and this campaign celebrates just that.

Collaborating with the live-action and photography pros at Yacht Club and director Jake Ladehoff, we brought to life businesses that are classic examples of the kinds of entrepreneurs who thrive on Shopify. From a ceramics studio to a beauty startup, a fashion design shop, a dog supply store, and even a matcha brand, each business reflects the energy and spirit of Shopify users everywhere. Yacht Club elevated the visuals by mixing in cool, edgy flash photography, adding a raw, dynamic edge to the campaign. This approach gave each scene an electric and contemporary feel, perfectly capturing the excitement of building something bold and new.

From concept to execution, we built these worlds from the ground up—designing custom branding, product visuals, and scouting spaces that perfectly captured each business’s unique vibe.

Our motion graphics team at Mighty Oak then jumped in to animate bold, playful visuals that popped off the screen. From slick text treatments to layered animations, we infused Shopify’s signature energy into every frame, seamlessly weaving graphics into the colorful live-action storytelling. The result?
